An FTP client offers interesting transfer features. It is ideal for transferring large files or a big quantity of files.

Step 1 - Download and install FileZilla
First download the latest version here: Download Filezilla
Install it, accepting the default options.
Step 2 - First launch of the software
You can now run FileZilla. You will see the software window that consists of 4 zones.
Step 3 - Configuration
You must enter the connection settings in your FTP Space. Open the Site Manager in Filezilla and save your settings. To do this:
- In the top menu, click File -> Site Manager.
- Click on New Site. Enter a name to identify it.
- In the Host field, enter ftp.fdcanada.ca
- Select FTP - File Transfer Protocol for the server Type.
- You can create a secure connection by choosing:
FTPS - FTP mode using TLS / SSL Implicit (Port 990)
FTPE - FTP mode using TLS / SSL Explicit (port 21)

- You can create a secure connection by choosing:
- Choose Normal for the Logon Type field.
- Enter your Username and the Password you created when you subscribed to STOCKLii. You can change your user profile and create new users at anytime by visiting STOCKLii. You can always change your Username and create new ones by logging in to the Account Administration.
- Click on Connect to connect to your FTP space or OK to save your settings.
Step 4 - Connection and file transfers
Now that your settings are saved:
- Click on File -> Site Manager.
- Choose the FTP Space you want to connect to.
- Click on Connect.
- You can now move local files to STOCKLii. Just drag and drop.
